Spurs Boss Frank Calls Goalkeeper Booers 'Not True Real Fans'
Fulham Begin Powerfully to Beat Spurs and Increase Tension on the Manager
Tottenham Hotspur supporters who jeered goalkeeper Vicario were informed later "those individuals can't be real Tottenham supporters" by boss Frank.
Spurs let in a pair of goals in the opening initial moments to lose 2-1 to their opponents, registering their tenth top-flight home loss of 2025.
However the primary topic of discussion was Fulham's next goal when the keeper gave away the ball well beyond his box.
He came out to handle a high pass and took the ball near the touchline.
But, instead of kicking it into touch, the Italy international spun and attempted to clear, but lost his footing as the ball glanced off Harry Wilson and was collected by King.
The forward laid the ball off to Welsh midfielder Harry Wilson, who bent a strike into the net from the touchline recorded at 36.6 metres.
Moments later when the ball came to the keeper once more, a number of Spurs supporters jeered him.
Spurs were booed off at half-time, with the side 2-0 behind, and again at the final whistle.
A particular of those jeering episodes truly irritated the manager.
"It came to my attention a few of our supporters apparently booed the incident and jeered following, which, in my view is totally unjustifiable," the Dane stated regarding the supporters' response to his goalkeeper.
"[They] can't be true Tottenham fans that act that way. Alright booing after the game, fine, but when we are in play, we are supporting each other, we are behind one another moving ahead."
Tete had handed Fulham a fourth-minute lead before Wilson's strike – with Kudus netting for Spurs in an better second-half showing.
Ex- Premier League keeper Joe Hart stated that the second goal was "completely avoidable".
"I certainly appreciate the fans' frustration," the ex-keeper continued. "I am aware the part the keeper is playing. He's a great squad member, he is a true figure in the locker room but in the end you are going to be judged by your decisions.
"The keeper was heavily involved in what turned out to be the decisive goal."

Thomas Frank Stood Up For His Goalkeeper Vicario Following the Match
Italian national team Vicario is in his third campaign with Spurs.
The 29-year-old stated following the match that he had to take the criticism.
"That goal was a mistake of mine, I take accountability for it," he said.
"The intent was to clear the ball far and I just hit the ball in a poor way. That made an more difficult mountain to climb."
He said receiving jeers "is part of the game".
"I am mature, how can I respond?" he continued. "We can't be influenced by the circumstances in the crowd. Supporters have the entitlement to do what they think.
"It is on the team to remain increasingly calm, to focus on ourselves. The team is lacking in composure and poise to overturn results. Today is a poor loss and it is tough to take."
'I Was Surprised No One Went Back to the Line'
In spite of the keeper's error, it was not an easy goal for Harry Wilson to score.
Actually it was the next longest-range Premier League score of the campaign – following Tyler Adams' forty-three point three metre goal for Bournemouth against Sunderland, which interestingly too came on the same day.
Wilson stated he was "somewhat taken aback" that he still had an open net to aim for.
10 seconds elapsed between Vicario coming out of his area and Wilson shooting – which was 5 seconds following the clearance.
"It seemed to me like the goalkeeper was away from the area for ages," he said.
"It amazed me none of the back four went back to the line. When none of them defended the goal, my eyes lit up a bit.
"[Destiny] Udogie fell too, which allowed me a little additional opportunity. After that it was all about attempting to make the right connection and place it on target. I had a good sense, the moment it came off my boot, that it was on the right line."

Jeering Whilst We Are Still Playing Is Totally Unjustifiable - the Manager
While Vicario's error led headlines, this was an overall bad performance for Tottenham to extend their home ground woes.
The match was their 10th at home loss of the year in the league, a joint team statistic matching nineteen ninety-four and two thousand and three.
The side still have home fixtures against the manager's former club the Bees and title holders Liverpool to play before the end of the year.
Only one of those victories have occurred since Frank replaced his predecessor in the off-season.
"When you're down 2-0 after the opening, there is a mountain to climb," said Frank.
"When you're in a poor run, all aspects appears to go against you as well – the opening was a redirected attempt, the next is a error from Vic.
"The outcome puts us in a place where we have lost another game. Every game has a unique story, this game we lost in the first six minutes.
"We simply need to continue striving. The second half was significantly improved and with luck something we can use to develop."
Spurs have lost 4 consecutive at home London derbies for the initial time in the Premier League.
And they are averaging nine point five attempts and 3.2 efforts on goal per game in the Premier League – their lowest rates on record in a one campaign (since at least the 2003-04 season).
Ex- Cottagers midfielder Danny Murphy commented that Frank has to ride the storm.
"He must accept the stick," Murphy remarked. "He has accepted a prestigious role at a huge team with massive anticipation. There is pressure and duty that accompanies that.
"The performances at their stadium have been poor and they have to improve {quickly|
