FC Barcelona Set to Play Historic Game at Partially Completed Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed they are set to host at the still-under-construction Camp Nou this Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit Athletic Bilbao in La Liga 30 months following their departure to allow renovations to start.
“We’ve dreamed about the return. Now, it’s here. We’re back home. Back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited though over 45,000 attendees will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. Once fully finished, the Camp Nou is due to hold over 104,000 attendees, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed finished work included a new players’ tunnel plus modern locker rooms.

Barça organized a public practice on the home pitch in early November. The club said they are seeking authorization by UEFA to host the next European match facing Eintracht in December at Camp Nou. Previous fixtures took place in the temporary ground.
